• Local Storage Only: Your API token is stored locally in your browser using Chrome’s storage.local API
• Not Synced: Data is not synced across devices or browsers
• User Control: You can delete your stored API token at any time using the Extension’s settings panel

How Your Data is Used

Your API token is used exclusively for:

1. Making authenticated API requests to FulcrumPro’s API (api.fulcrumpro.com)
2. Fetching purchase order data
3. Fetching material and vendor information
4. Updating material vendor price breaks

All API requests are made directly from your browser to FulcrumPro’s servers. No intermediate servers or third parties are involved.

Permissions Explanation

The Extension requires the following permissions:

storage

• Purpose: To securely store your FulcrumPro API token locally in your browser
• Usage: Token is saved when you enter it in the settings and retrieved when making API calls

activeTab

• Purpose: To interact with the active FulcrumPro Purchase Order page
• Usage: To detect when you’re on a PO page and inject the price updater interface

host_permissions for *.fulcrumpro.com

• Purpose: To inject the Extension’s interface into FulcrumPro pages
• Usage: Required to display the floating panel and interact with PO pages

host_permissions for api.fulcrumpro.com

• Purpose: To make API calls to FulcrumPro’s API
• Usage: Required to fetch and update data using your API token

Data Security

• API tokens are stored using Chrome’s secure storage API
• All API communications use HTTPS encryption
• No data is transmitted to any server other than FulcrumPro’s official API
• The Extension runs entirely in your browser - no backend servers are used

Third-Party Services

The Extension communicates exclusively with:

• FulcrumPro API (api.fulcrumpro.com): To fetch and update material pricing data using your API token

No other third-party services are used.

Data Retention and Deletion

• Your API token is stored indefinitely until you explicitly delete it
• To delete your stored data:
  1. Click the Extension icon
  2. Click the settings gear icon (⚙️)
  3. Click “Clear Token”
• You can also uninstall the Extension to remove all stored data

Children’s Privacy

This Extension is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
